Houston, TX – July 15, 2010 – As Election Day gets closer by the day, the campaign for State Senator District 13 is getting very interesting. The incumbent Senator hasn’t had an opponent in nearly 20 years, but Michael Mauldin has clearly changed that fact.
Houston political circles are talking about the Mauldin State Senate campaign and noting that his candidacy may indeed be the real thing. When asked for comment, a campaign spokesman said “The Mauldin campaign is gaining momentum every day. We have a great social media following on Facebook and Twitter, we are receiving more and more volunteers daily and most importantly the reactions from voters are all positive.”
News of the political buzz surrounding the campaign has been well received internally, but the campaign spokesman pointed out “Michael’s not in this race for the political pundits. This campaign is for the heart of Houston and Michael is focused on informing voters about his plans to improve education, increase jobs, protect life and secure better government.”
